20 years of the Festival de Loire

We look forward to seeing you at the 20th anniversary of the Festival de Loire from 20 to 24 September, the biggest gathering of the river navy.

For the occasion, the quays of the Loire in Orléans will be transformed into the legendary port of yesteryear, with more than 700 bargemen and 200 boats, 500 artists and over a hundred exhibitors.

The Festival de Loire features a host of water-based events on the Loire and the Orleans Canal, as well as artistic and city-centre events.

This year, the spotlight will be on the Canadian river, the Saint-Laurent, and the sailors of the Basque Country, to help you discover this exceptional living heritage.
