A Christmas in bloom, a Christmas with a difference
Castle of La Bussière
In December, castle of La Bussière opens its doors for a magical Christmas experience. Floral decorations, illuminations, a variety of activities: “Santa’s Troquet” in the orangery, a Christmas Rose hunt, a craft workshop, and a magic show in the château. There are also horse-drawn carriage rides on the weekends before Christmas.

One of the most emblematic castles in the Loire Valley is dressing up for a dream Christmas.
The programme includes a guided Christmas tour, magical decorations, chocolate painting workshops, games, storytelling, a Christmas show, a trumpet concert, a meeting with Santa Claus and falconry !

- Last admission 30 minutes before the château closes. The formal gardens close 30 minutes before the château.

Visit the home of a genius! The castle of Clos Lucé is immersed in a magical world to celebrate Christmas.

The magical Christmas of orange trees
Castle Gaillard
The “Pomme d’Or” is the name given in the past to the orange, first planted in France in 1496 at the Domaine Royal of castle Gaillard in Amboise.
The fruit of festivities and a symbol of Christmas, experience the Christmas of orange trees with the citrus counter in Santa’s tavern, story readings, a drawing workshop for the little ones, decorations and carols.
