Bike Day at Place du Martroi

Saturday 25th May 2024

Echoing the national ” Mai à vélo” event, cycling and active mobility will be given pride of place in the Place du Martroi on Saturday 25th May 2024.

From 10am to 7pm, saddle up for a great day out dedicated to cycling.

On the programme: fun and manoeuvrability areas (how to ride a bike, scooter and BMX areas), bike and electric scooter rides, musical demonstrations, events organised by the Tourist Office (presentation of leisure cycling itineraries in the city and the region, promotion of cycle tourism), information and service stands, an environmental stand, a safety and road safety centre.

Explore Orleans differently with the Vélotour

Sunday 26th May 2024

A unique concept in France, the Vélotour event returns on Sunday 26th May for an unusual ride.

Open to all ages, this event is a great way to discover the city in a different way, by visiting unusual places that are often closed to cyclists. All in a warm, family-friendly atmosphere!

This year’s programme includes an original route that takes you by bike through the Orléans centre fire station, the TAO tramway centre and the L’O. aquatic centre.
