During the christmas market

From Friday 25 November to Monday 2 January, every evening from 5.30 pm, discover the Christmas illuminations on the Sainte-Croix cathedral.

The most emblematic monument in Orléans is transformed for the occasion on the theme of snowy summits.

Duration: about 2 minutes.

From 5.30 pm to 8 pm on weekdays and Sundays and from 5.30 pm to 9 pm on Saturdays.

Sound and light show on the cathedral

In Orleans

From 12 May to 3 September 2022, come and see the great sound and light show on the Sainte-Croix cathedral in Orleans! All summer long, two new and free shows (‘Jeanne, étendard de lumière’ created for the Joan of Arc Festival and ‘Orléans, ville jardin’ created by students from l’école des Gobelins) are projected for 1 hour of sound and light!

Two new shows in one

The first is dedicated to Joan of Arc ‘Jeanne, étendard de lumière’, a work by Artslide, which retraces the history of Joan of Arc’s epic by playing with the cathedral’s architecture.

The second, ‘Orléans, ville jardin’, produced by the Gobelins, l’école de l’Image and the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris.

Practical information:

  • From 12 May to 31 July at 11pm.
  • From 3 August to 3 September at 10.30pm.

Thursday to Saturday until 2 July and Wednesday to Sunday from 6 July.

Free of charge.
